Description of System:
According to the discoveries of Dr Tomatis, Calssical music is filtered through the Elctronic Ear, low frequencies are progressively removed, to create a rebirth through sound and to physically rehabilitate the ear by putting the middle ear muscles through a gymnastic program.
This form of Sound Therapy was created to make the method developed by Dr Tomatis affordable and accessible to people all over the world. Analogue recording is used because of its superior accoustic and therapeutic effect. The therapy program is available on cassette tapes for use on a portable cassette player. It can be done during daily activities making it convenient, easy and time efficient.
Diagnosis
Joudry Sound Therapy is a portable, self help program. listeners determine their suitablility for the therapy after reading one of Rafaele and Patricia Joudry's books, Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain, or Triumph Over
Tinnitus.
Scientific Studies
Numerous studies have been done in Canada, the UK, South Africa and Australia, showing the efficacy for dyslexia, anxiety, depression, self esteem, tinnitus, hearing loss, sleep, energy and stress. A summary of these studies is available from Sound Therapy International.
